Paradise Beach Resort
Location, Beaches, & Activities

Paradise Beach Resort on Virgin Gorda is reached by frequently scheduled flights from both San Juan, Puerto Rico and St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.  Guests can also fly into Tortola's Beef Island Airport and take a ferry to Virgin Gorda.

The resort is on Virgin Gorda's western shore between steep mountains and a perfect white sand crescent beach.

High hills behind the villas plunge to a half mile shoreline.  Islands are scattered to the west.  We have absolutely wonderful sunsets.  Views are picture perfect.

The long, white sand cove stretches around Savannah Bay past beautiful homes and native plants in a carnival of color.  Our beach is protected by offshore coral reefs and is excellent for swimming and snorkeling right out your front door.

A Jeep can be rented during your stay and our resort is only 10 minutes from Spanish Town, the Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour, ferry dock, and the tiny airport.

You can also explore an old copper mine, hike to Gorda Peak Park at 1,370 feet, drive around the twisty mountain roads to Leverick Bay on North Sound, swim and snorkel at The Baths with clear pools entwined and sheltered by the huge boulders at the island's south end.

This island and this resort are not for those seeking lots of nightlife and entertainment. Most all the resorts, restaurants, and shops are barefoot casual, friendly, and on island time. No need to rush around, so forget your schedule, kick off your shoes, and relax.

For a special night out, visit Little Dix Bay and have dinner overlooking the yellow and red tinged sunset sky. For a casual lunch or dinner, visit the Bath and Turtle at the Yacht Harbour where live reggae plays some evenings or go to the popular Mine Shaft.  Try all kinds of water sports including boat rentals and charter fishing.  You can explore underwater reefs with Dive BVI.

See other islands of the BVI, sail, and snorkel with a half or full day trip on the fabulous 48' Catamaran Patouche II
and many others.  Inquire about a day trip to Andgada for amazing beaches, world class snorkeling, and a lobster lunch.

Take the ferry over to Tortola for sightseeing and shopping. Island ferries run several times each day.

Or, just stroll along our long beach ...
